Privacy Policy

RoleSignal ("RoleSignal", "we", "us") is a recruiter intelligence tool operated by Interfaces Digitais that analyzes job descriptions and candidate resumes using AI agents. This policy explains what data we collect, how we use it, and the choices you have.
Information we collect
- Account information — your email address, and, if you sign in with Google, the name, email address, and profile picture associated with your Google account.
- Content you submit— job descriptions and resume text you provide for analysis. A resume you submit may contain another person's (the candidate's) personal information — see "If someone else's information was submitted" below.
- Run history — the results of each analysis you run, stored so you can review it later.
How we use Google account information
When you sign in with Google, we request your name, email address, and profile picture solely to create and authenticate your RoleSignal account and to match you to any existing account with the same email address. We do not use this information for advertising, and we do not sell it or share it with third parties, other than the infrastructure and processing providers described below.
How we use your content
Job descriptions and resume text you submit are sent to a large language model provider (such as OpenAI or OpenRouter) solely to generate the analysis you requested. This content is not used to train third-party models, and Google account information is never included in these requests.
Data storage and security
Data is stored on Amazon Web Services (AWS) infrastructure in the United States, using encryption in transit (TLS). Access to stored data is restricted to what is necessary to operate the service. We use the following processors to operate RoleSignal:
- Amazon Web Services (AWS) — sign-in (Cognito) and data storage (DynamoDB), hosted on EC2
- Vercel — hosting for the RoleSignal web application
- Cloudflare — DNS for our domain
- An LLM provider (OpenAI, OpenRouter, or a self-hosted model) — processes job description and resume text solely to generate the analysis you requested
Data retention and deletion
Run history, saved candidates, and saved positions that have had no activity for 90 days are automatically deleted. You do not need to wait for that: you can delete your account and all associated data, or export a copy of everything we hold about you, at any time from your Account page. Account deletion is immediate and permanent.
If someone else's information was submitted
RoleSignal is used by recruiters to analyze resumes submitted on behalf of candidates who have not directly interacted with RoleSignal themselves. If you are a candidate whose resume was submitted by someone else and you would like it removed, contact us at thiagoramos@gmail.com and we will locate and delete it.
Your choices
You can revoke RoleSignal's access to your Google account at any time from your Google Account permissions page.
Changes to this policy
We may update this policy from time to time. Material changes will be reflected by updating the "Last updated" date above.
